Day 4 - Venice (30th April, 2012)

Wake up in the early morning at 6.30a.m, and prepare to go to the "Jetty". Buying the ticket at the counter or machine in front of the "Jetty" with €16 per person for 12 hours, or €6.50 for one way, and it is about 45-60 minutes there is one boat to Murano.

We haven't taken our breakfast, as most of the cafe and restaurant in Venice are open on 9.30a.m (this is found out after checking many restaurant with walking more than one and half hour).

The weather is pretty nice when we in Murano, and this is the famour Murano glass display.

A cute cat sun bath at the garden

Finally we manage to find a place for breakfast (after one and half hour walking), this is the handsome owner. Yummy Croissant with delicious coffee latte.

Most of the shop was not open yet, but we manage to see the Murano glass factory produce the arts. He is finish one 30cm size horse with less than 5 minutes. Wow, it was so amazing, from a liquid to an object, so impressive.

After this, we are depart to Burano. First time taking the bost like taking the Metro, have to see the station and the direction of the boat.

Arrive in Burano, this bycycle is only borrow for photo. Haha
I like the way they decorate their own house

Must try this black squid spaghetti, it taste pretty nice, although it looks.. erm...

Cute artworks in Burano

It was so relax here

I didn't taste this, but it looks attracting

At first, we are quite regret to wake up that early to go to Murano, that most of the shop and restaurant was not open yet. But when we finish in Burano, we are so glad that we are coming here early, because the long quep for the boat to go back to Venice. It takes us 45 minutes waiting below the sun for the boat. And the quep in Murano station is even longer.

When back to Venice, we go for the Gondola ride. I guess there have a standard pricing guideline. It cost €80 for the full ride (approximately one hour ride), and we ask for the short ride, which cost €60 (about 30 minutes ride). He will share with you about the Venice history.

We end our day with the fine dinner together with this wine (this is actually the welcoming wine) which cost us €16. I like the taste, it is mild, and it's really taste nice.
